NAME CHANGE Please note our name has changed to COLORS, A Center for Spiritual Living, in keeping with the desires of Religious Science International (RSI). The Acronym COLORS now stands for Center of Light of Re-Awakening Spirits.

OPENING OF CHURCH HOUSE The opening of the church house will take place on Sunday May 11 after God as Woman service. So set aside this date, to officially open the church house. All are invited. Please sign up to bring refreshments. The sign up sheet for food for the open house is hanging up on the “What’s Up Board”. Please submit your checks as soon as possible if you made a financial pledge. If you have not, you may still do so by signing the pledge sheets at the church. Please identify any gifts for the house on your check. Approximately $24,000 has been spent to refurbish the house and the church would like to recoup the money.

JAM SESSIONS CONTINUE There will be no Jam Session this Monday. It will resume next week at 7:00 pm.

LUMINARES PERFORMANCE The Luminares. COLORS dance troupe, will perform during the GOD as Woman Service on Sunday, May 11 at 10:00 am.

TREATMENT Treatment is available through our Practitioners Grace Mills and Lawrence Tolliver for a charge of $35.00.

NEW SOM CLASSES New classes will begin the week of May 12^th.
SOM 200 begins on Wednesday, May 14^{th
SOM 102 begins on Thursday, May 15th
SOM 101 begins on Friday, May 16^th}

^{MESSAGE CIRCLE If you are interested in receiving a message from spirit and need more information about The Message Circle, please see Jonathan Harris. The Message Circle takes place on the 3^rd Sunday of each month.}

^VOLUNTEERS^{There are many volunteer openings. Become a vital active part of this ministry. There is a volunteer list at the back of the church for you to sign up or you can see Wendy Mills for more information.}

^{CHURCH SCHOOL VOLUNTEERS Please see Lawrence Tolliver or Reverend Claire if you are interested in teaching Sunday School. Volunteers must have completed at least one SOM class.}

^{SCHOLARSHIPS There are scholarships available. Please check the scholarship book in the back of the church. There is a May 15^th deadline.}

^{MEN-TO-MEN DISCUSSION GROUP The discussion group, led by Ahmad Daniels, meets weekly after Sunday service. TEEN MEETINGS Teen meetings are scheduled bi-weekly on Mondays at Michelle Moore’s home. Contact Michele at 704-819-2857 for additional information.
CHOIR REHEARSALS Under the professional direction of Nina Elbey, COLORS choir director, our choir is expanding. Put a song in your heart, join the COLORS Choir! Rehearsals take place every Monday at 6:00 p.m. at the Church.
THE KNOWING Please join Rev Claire in knowing that the Church of Light will strengthen its support of our kindred in the Palm Springs Township in Johannesburg, South Africa. The Church of Light will provide weekly lesson CD's and other materials to foster their growth in religious teaching.
